“What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.” ― Albert Pike

Reaching out, giving back, and serving others is essential in impacting the world. I obtained this title Miss Black Delaware US Ambassador, in October 2016 with Albert Pike’s slogan in mind. Upon winning top 10 semi-finalist and Miss Photogenic at Nationals in July 2017, I have used my title as a vehicle to serve in the community. Some events include hosting the Martin Luther King march held annually in Wilmington Delaware, speaking at the William Hicks Anderson Community Center, and reading to kids at her former schools, Carrie Downey and Thurgood Marshall Elementary. It is my belief that the highest level of leadership is servitude. (Watch video)
